1: Why do you charge a flat rate for initial cleans instead of hourly?
– Multiple reasons. First, I promote a healthy workplace where I encourage myself and my staff to take breaks. Becoming tired and overwhelmed leads to mistakes being made and things overlooked. Secondly, sometimes things take longer than expected. If I quoted you 4 hours but ended up being there 8, neither of us would be happy! I want my clients to be happy without us breaking the bank or our backs! Charging a flat rate allows us to take our time and make sure that everything is done properly without being rushed!
2: Why does a clean seem so expensive?
– I believe in promoting a healthy work environment and providing a livable wage which means my employees make at minimum $20 an hour plus tips. This is manual labor. It’s back breaking work. My staff works hard and they deserve it, without a doubt, no questions asked. I wouldn’t be where I am without them. Not only that, but we take the term “luxury expense” to heart. You’re paying for luxury, you’re going to get luxury. We do special things that have taken years to learn like folding towels in origami fashions, doing specialty folds in your toiletries, and just generally going above and beyond in all aspects of our work.
3: Why can I get it done cheaper?
– You can and we totally understand! While we strive to help everyone and fit ourselves into their budget we understand that sometimes you just have to hire a friend or a family member and that’s OKAY! The difference between us and a side hustle is that we know what chemicals to use on what surfaces. We know what pH chemicals go well on natural stone, marble, granite, and all of the rest! We know what to use in order to save you in the long run from having to have your countertops resurfaced due to poor chemical use and etching! Not to mention, all my employees pass a background check and random drug tests ensuring that who I am bringing into your home is trustworthy!
At the end of the day, I started this company from nothing. I’ve worked for years to ensure the best quality of work and we take AN INCREDIBLE AMOUNT OF PRIDE in what we do.
I’m not just a cleaning lady. I’m a professional, and so is my staff! And that’s what separates us from the rest!
