If you follow us on Facebook, you know that we have a variety of four-legged supervisors. One of the perks of visiting your homes is we get to play with the furry friends that live there! But do you have an anxious pet who doesn’t love new visitors to your home? We want to walk through some suggestions to get them acclimated to us and our presence, so we can continue to clean your home safely and effectively.
Depending on the frequency of your cleans, having your pet go about their normal routine when we are there is paramount. If you typically crate your pets, try to do so before we get there and let them out after we leave. When we come to provide an estimate on the home, we can also discuss different options for your pets while we are cleaning. Some clients like to be present when we are cleaning, and others let us come in on our own. Depending on which method you prefer will determine how we interact with your pets.
It is a vast understatement to say that Eckler Cleaners love pets. We are obsessed, and we want to make sure everything is a smooth transition while we are cleaning your home. Sometimes a stressed-out animal can become aggressive, so it is also important we are all on the same page about your pets before we start cleaning. Each furry supervisor is different, and we strive to foster good relationships between Eckler Cleaning and the supervisors.
If your pet has a particular aversion to cleaning supplies (i.e., the vacuum) let us know beforehand, and we will work on getting them comfortable. The main point is that communication is key when hiring someone to come into your home and we are always here to talk about your wants and expectations.
