Even though Eckler Cleaning Services has been in business for quite some time now, Maggie and crew are always finding new ways to use common household devices to clean. It is always a joy to discover a new tool that can not only clean more effectively but be used throughout the house. Today, that device is a plastic razor blade.
If you have a glass stovetop you might already be familiar with this device. It is a sharp, but plastic razor blade that you can safely use on glass counters. Stubborn stains can be cooked onto these stovetops, but a plastic razor does a wonder on tough to clean spots.
You can also use this handy device on stubborn stickers and labels that just won’t come off. Though you may need to put a little elbow grease into removing the sticker, the sharp edges of the blade help remove all of the sticky residue.
You might see some caked-on spots outside on your vinyl siding and sadly folks, that is fly poop. If you have your plastic razor blade in hand, take some ammonia based cleaner and spray it on the surface then go over it with your razor blade that will remove the spots and prevent scratching on the siding.
