Safety is our #1 concern. We ask all clients to lock up their firm arms while we are in the home. If our professional cleaners come across a firearm that has been left out, we will not touch it. If a team member feels like their personal safety is at risk, they will leave the cleaning site immediately.
Here is our protocol if we come across a firearm in your home.
- Stay Calm
- Do not touch the firearm
- Immediately notify Maggie Gonzales, owner of Eckler Cleaning Services
- We will assess the situation and discuss a game plan for cleaning. If the client is home, we will ask you to secure your firearm.
- Maggie will reach out to the client to notify them of the problem and reiterate our policy

The use of gun safes, lockboxes, or trigger locks can significantly reduce the likelihood of accidental discharges and theft.
