PRE PARTY: PREPARE YOUR HOME IN 10 MINUTES
Goal: Create a tidy and “protected” environment so post-party cleanup is minimal.
- Sweep or vacuum only the “critical zones” (food area, bathroom, and entryway).
- Place old rugs or blankets under the snack table and drink station so they are out of sight.
- Put empty containers near the couch and kitchen—they’ll work as improvised trash bins for wrappers and cups.
- Spray a neutral air freshener on curtains and sofas 30 minutes before guests arrive; avoid mixing strong scents.
- Store fragile items. Less exposed items = lower risk of damage.
